The cycle track
Yippie!! We were just about to board the steam train. As soon as Gabriel started it came with a big bump.My cousins all laughed like a lion roaring at the train. As soon as we got started we could smell black smelly steam everywhere. Suddenly we went over the bridge. We looked out the window and we could see cars everywhere. It was time to get off. Yay! We waited for dad to bring some more bikes so we were able to get started. Bump bump bump clappity bump. We went through the metal gate. We finally reached the big hill. I had to walk it because it was as steep as a volcano. Then we got to the biggest bridge where the train can’t go over because the track is broken. Then we got to the dark tunnel. There were little holes in the side of the tunnel so I asked my Aunty what they were for. She said, “if people were trapped inside the tunnel they could run into them if the train was coming.” Finally we reached Opua and found a cafe and had some hot chips. Then went to the dairy where the fairy was and got a ice cream. Then we rode back and passed everything we saw last time.
